Each part of a "Storybook" Windsor Chair is crafted by hand just as they were by the Chairmakers of Colonial America.

The wood is obtained from local family-owned  sources and each and every part of the chair is crafted in my shop using 18th Century methods and techniques.

The finish is a layered " Milk Paint"  then distressed to give the effect of age and wear.  The paint is then sealed with several coats of  "Pure" Tung oil.
